Modular Rubber Shipping Container Ramp – 150mm to 300mm H, 2200mm W, 10,000kg

A heavy-duty modular ramp made from 100% recycled tyre rubber for loading and unloading ground-level shipping containers. Its smooth gradient lets forklifts, pallet trucks, cars, trolleys, drums, plant machinery and goods move safely into containers or over kerbs. Rated to 10,000kg and 2200mm wide when fully assembled, it covers the full width of a container. Heights from 150mm to 300mm are available, with taller heights on request.

Features

• Rest-on connection: join the sections, rest the ramp against the container and start loading.
• Smooth gradient of at least 1:8; the taller heights give 1:9. Designed with the low clearance of forklifts and pallet trucks in mind.
• Anti-slip surface gives strong grip in all weathers, including wet conditions, indoors or outdoors, and the ramp can be left outside.
• Rubber construction cuts noise by around 90% when a forklift drives in and out, much quieter than aluminium or steel ramps.
• The gentle slope also suits pedestrians and wheelchair users, for example at containers converted into shops or food stalls at events.

Modular Design

• Supplied in modular pieces so one person can move and assemble the kit.
• Dog-bone connectors lock the sections securely together.
• Use fewer sections to build a narrower ramp, handy when only one container door is open (narrower sections are not sold separately).
• Section sizes: first ramp section 275mm W x 770mm L, second ramp section 275mm W x 480mm L, level section 275mm W x 475mm L.

• 150mm H – 1250mm L x 2200mm W, 188kg: 8 first ramp sections and 8 second ramp sections.
• 200mm H – 1750mm L x 2200mm W, 345kg: 8 first, 16 second and 8 level sections.
• 250mm H – 2250mm L x 2200mm W, 556kg: 8 first, 24 second and 24 level sections.
• 300mm H – 2750mm L x 2200mm W, 821kg: 8 first, 32 second and 48 level sections.

Good to Know

• Because of the rest-on connection, most container doors cannot be closed while the ramp is in place, so remove it to shut the doors.
