Wheeled or rubber-tracked plant: 15° angle. Guide only – always check the rated capacity.

Not sure which pair you need?

Send us the machine's operating weight, track or tyre type and your load height. We will reply with the pairs that fit.

How to choose a loading ramp

Capacity: pick a pair rated above your machine's full operating weight, including bucket, fuel and attachments. A margin of around 25% keeps loading safe on uneven ground.

Length: the longer the ramp, the shallower the angle. Low cars need a gentle angle; tracked plant can climb steeper. Use the table to match your load height.

Width & surface: choose a ramp wider than your track or tyre. Steel tracks need milled-surface or rubber-coated ramps so the decking is not damaged.

Loading ramp questions

Is the capacity for one ramp or the pair?

Pair listings show the capacity of the two ramps used together. Where a listing is rated per ramp, the title says “per Ramp”. If a listing isn't clear for your machine, ask us before you order.

Which ramps suit an excavator on steel tracks?

Choose ramps listed “for Steel Tracks” — milled-surface aluminium or rubber-coated. Standard aluminium ramps are made for tyres and rubber tracks; steel track plates can damage their decking.

How long should my ramps be?

It depends on your load height and the angle your machine can climb. Use the Ramp Finder or the table above: tracked plant usually manages around 15°, cars and low-clearance machines need around 10°. Always check the maximum angle in your machine maker's guidance.

Can you help with a machine that is not listed?

Yes. Send us the machine's operating weight, track or tyre width and your load height, and we will reply with the pairs that fit.
