Rubber vs Nylon Wheels

• Rubber wheels are much quieter than nylon and are recommended for customer-facing areas. Because rubber compresses under weight, the wheels can wear faster under heavier loads.
• Nylon wheels are a hard plastic option with the lowest rolling resistance, making heavy loads easier to pull from a standstill, but they are much louder and can mark sensitive floors – better for warehouses, back-of-house areas and factory floors.

Assembly

• Delivered largely pre-assembled – only the handle needs fitting before use, which usually takes around 15 minutes.
• You will need an 8mm spanner to attach the handle chain, plus a hammer and 5mm parallel pin punch for the pin that holds the hinge. Tools are not supplied.

Good to Know

• Designed for indoor use and limited outdoor use on flat areas such as tarmac or concrete loading bays and yards. Due to its low clearance it is not for rough terrain, and it should not be left outside.
• The truck can be used on ramps. Manual pallet trucks have low ground clearance, so a long ramp is generally recommended to stop them grounding out.
• Pallet trucks are lifting equipment covered by PUWER. They should be inspected annually by a third party, with regular in-house checks (including daily operator checks before use), and records kept of all examinations and inspections.
