Extra Wide Aluminium Plant Loading Ramps (Pair) – 2500mm L x 400mm W, 6,000kg Capacity

A pair of extra wide aluminium loading ramps, each 2500mm long and 400mm wide with a 125mm profile thickness. With a combined capacity of 6,000kg, they are ideal for plant machinery and mini diggers. The price and capacity shown are for the pair.

Features

• Supplied without side edges as standard; versions with edges are also available.
• Four connection options are available; the standard fitting is a rest-on connection with a pin, a popular choice for flatbed vehicles and tipper trucks; a hook connection is normally recommended for beaver tail trailers.
• The curved rest-on connection has a pre-drilled hole so the ramps can be secured to the vehicle, and the angled foot keeps the base on the ground. The ramps’ own weight and gradient also help hold them firmly in place.
• Each ramp weighs 23kg (46kg per pair).

Sizing and Loading

• Load height: 600mm to 750mm.
• To find your load height, measure the vertical distance from the ground to where the ramps will rest on your vehicle, then choose the length whose load height range covers it.
• Do not load outside the stated load height range – the ramps will not sit flush with the ground, which can be dangerous. Ramps custom-cut for other heights, for example to give a gentler gradient, are available.
• Track/wheel width: minimum 200mm, maximum 320mm.
• Designed for a maximum loading gradient of 30% – do not use them any steeper.
• Capacity by machine wheelbase: 4,580kg at 1000mm, 6,000kg at 1500mm, 6,000kg at 2000mm.
• The stated maximum capacities only apply when the vehicle’s weight is evenly distributed.

• Not suitable for machines with solid wheels, such as road surfacing machines; steel-tracked machinery needs a dedicated industrial ramp.
