Aluminium Loading Ramps (Pair) – 4000mm L x 300mm W, 1000kg Capacity
£2,220.00
A pair of aluminium loading ramps for lightweight plant and garden machinery such as mini diggers and ride-on mowers. Each ramp is 4000mm long and 300mm wide with a 75mm profile thickness, and the pair is rated to a maximum of 1,000kg. The price and the stated capacity are both for the pair.
Features
- Supplied without edges as standard; a version with edges is also available.
- Designed for loading tracked plant machinery and vehicles including diggers, tractors, excavators and ride-on mowers, and suited to professional use – popular in construction and landscaping.
- Can be customised with custom load heights, custom sizes and nylon handles.
- Fully TÜV certified.
- Made in Europe and easy to fit.
- Two-year warranty.
Size & Capacity
- Size per ramp: 4000mm L x 300mm W x 75mm profile thickness.
- Track/wheel width: minimum 150mm, maximum 220mm.
- Capacity by wheelbase (pair): 830kg at a 1000mm wheelbase, 910kg at a 1250mm wheelbase, 1,000kg at a 1500mm wheelbase.
- Weight: 22.5kg per ramp (45kg per pair).
Load Height & Gradient
- Load height range: 1050mm to 1200mm (measured vertically from the ground to the point where the ramp rests on the vehicle).
- Designed for a maximum gradient of 30%.
- A 30% gradient is generally too steep for low-clearance cars, forklifts and scissor lifts; a dedicated car ramp or container ramp, or a custom solution, is better suited to these.
Connection & Fitting
- Four connection options are available. The default is the rest-on connection, a popular choice for flatbed vehicles and tipper trucks; a hook connection is normally recommended for beaver tail trailers.
- The standard curved rest-on connection has a pre-drilled hole for securing the ramp to the vehicle. The angled foot keeps the ramp on the ground, while the ramp’s own weight and the gradient hold it firmly in place.
- The foot of each ramp is cut to suit the load height for a smooth entry onto the ramp.
- If you need a different connection, such as a hook, just let us know after placing your order.
Good to Know
- Not suitable for solid wheels, such as those on road surfacing machines; a dedicated industrial ramp for steel tracks is needed for that type of machinery.
- If you only need a single ramp, a quote can be provided on request.
- Switching from steel ramps? These aluminium ramps are TÜV certified to safely carry the stated maximum capacity, and aluminium is durable and lighter than steel.
