A height-adjustable steel mobility step that shortens the distance you need to step up or down, making it easier and safer to get in and out of the home or garden. Built for all weathers, it has a slip-resistant, self-draining surface that stops water pooling. Half steps like this are commonly placed in front of homes and businesses to improve access and reduce trip hazards. Available in two sizes, it suits people who walk independently or use walking sticks, canes or crutches.

Choosing Your Size

• Standard: recommended for people walking independently or using walking sticks, canes or crutches.
• Large: gives extra room for people using larger mobility aids such as Zimmer frames and walking frames.
• Not generally suitable for rollators or tri-walkers, as there may not be enough room to move safely onto the step. For these, choose the Extra Large size of our Adjustable Half Step.
• Before buying, measure the vertical height from the ground to the doorstep or entrance. The mobility step is usually set at around half that height. Also check the width and depth of the space, and make sure there is enough clear room in front of the step for you and any walking aid to step off safely.

Good to Know

• Do not place the step on very uneven, steep or sloped surfaces.
