Modular Threshold Ramp Accessories – 960mm Platform, 320mm Extension, Kick Plate & Connection Plate, Galvanised Steel

Add-on parts for the modular threshold ramp and the 3-way access version. Use them to extend your ramp, or add a platform so users can turn left or right.

Parts Available

• Platform 960mm x 960mm or ramp extension 960mm x 320mm – fit either to the ramp section of your choice to lengthen the ramp or allow a 90° turn. A great combination for tight spaces and for doors and thresholds with small height differences.
• Kick plate 960mm x 100mm – fits along the side of the ramp and/or platform as a safety edge, stopping a wheelchair from slipping off the side.
• Connection plate 960mm x 130mm – fits to the platform or ramp for a smoother transition onto the step or door threshold.

Assembly & Use

• Assembly is required and can take up to two hours depending on the kit; two people are recommended for larger kits because of the weight. You will need Allen keys and wrenches (not supplied).
• The system is not designed to be fixed to the ground. Its weight holds it in place, and it is usually left in position for months or even years.
• As a semi-permanent access solution it generally does not need planning permission and typically does not need to meet building regulations. In public areas, get the landowner's permission and make sure the ramp does not become a trip hazard.
• Easy to take apart and remove when no longer needed, for example when selling or moving home, or during building work.
