Heavy-duty outrigger pads made to safely support heavy machinery such as cranes, excavators and recovery vehicles while protecting the ground underneath. Each pad gives a flat, stable surface that spreads the weight evenly, reducing the risk of the outrigger sinking and preventing surface damage. Available in four sizes with capacities of up to 25,000kg, they are an essential accessory on construction sites, outdoor events, maintenance projects and groundworks.

Features

  • Made from virgin Ultra High Molecular Weight Polyethylene (UHMW-PE), which gives higher tensile strength, better impact resistance and longer-lasting durability than recycled material.
  • Supports up to 25,000kg, depending on the size chosen.
  • Flat, stable design for the best outrigger support.
  • Non-slip surface for added safety.
  • High-visibility carry handle for easy transport and positioning: the 300mm and 400mm pads have one white handle; the 500mm and 600mm pads have two green handles.
  • Resistant to water, oils and chemicals, ideal for commercial environments and use all year round in all weathers.
  • Easy to clean, and the pads stack neatly for storage and transport.
  • Durable, long-lasting construction.
  • Bulk prices available.
  • One-year warranty.

Sizes

  • 300mm L x 300mm W x 30mm T
  • 400mm L x 400mm W x 40mm T
  • 500mm L x 500mm W x 50mm T
  • 600mm L x 600mm W x 60mm T

Choosing the Right Size

  • The pad size you need depends on the outrigger load, the ground conditions and the size of the outrigger foot. The maximum load per outrigger is usually marked on the outrigger or given in the operator manual.
  • Different ground types support different pressures. Soft ground, such as wet soil, has a lower bearing capacity, so the load needs spreading over a larger area and a bigger pad. On firm ground a smaller pad can generally be used.

Care & Maintenance

  • Clean the pads after every use to remove debris, dirt and liquids, and store them somewhere dry.
  • Inspect them regularly for damage, wear, cracks and deformation.
