A modular 75mm high speed bump kit, designed to be crossed comfortably at speeds of up to 5mph. Made from recycled rubber with a 20,000kg capacity, it is ideal for slowing cars and light vans on residential roads, around schools, on private roads and on driveways, helping make these areas safer for everyone. Available in lengths from 1000mm to 9000mm (longer kits on request), with reflective chevrons on both sides. Simple to fit, with fixings for tarmac and concrete included.

Features

• Modular kit: low-maintenance design that can be reconfigured or extended whenever needed. Each middle section is 500mm long and each end cap is 250mm.
• Kits from 1500mm upwards include two end caps for a smooth, safe transition at the ends, helping prevent vehicle damage and reducing trip hazards for pedestrians and cyclists.
• High-visibility black and yellow with embedded reflective chevrons on both sides, clearly visible even in low light.
• Anti-slip surface gives extra grip in wet or poor weather.
• Replacement parts (end caps, middle sections and fixings) available separately.
• Can be left outside.

Installation

• Easy to fit by a handyman or builder; supplied with pre-drilled fixing points.
• Fixings for tarmac and concrete included: M10 bolts, 120mm long.
• An SDS Max drill bit is included free of charge per order (14mm diameter, 150mm drill length, 276mm overall).
• The fixings are designed for tarmac and concrete only; installation on block paving is not recommended.

Good to Know

• Suitable for cars and light vans; not suitable for HGVs. For HGV traffic, such as on industrial estates, see our 60mm high heavy duty speed bump kit.
• Choose the lowest suitable height to give maximum clearance for the widest range of vehicles.
• Do not install on a bend; vehicles should drive over the bump in a straight line, never at an angle.
• Speed bump warning signs are recommended alongside the kit.
• Get the landowner's permission before installing. The Highways (Road Humps) Regulations 1999 also require you to notify the emergency services and anyone who may be affected.
• Delivered on pallets. One-year warranty.
