Adjustable Half Step with GRP Anti-Slip Mesh – 80mm to 230mm High, 3 Sizes, Zinc-Coated Frame

A premium adjustable half step that bridges the height difference at doorsteps, doorways and thresholds, making it safer and easier to get in and out of homes, workplaces and other buildings. It helps people with limited mobility step up with confidence and reduces the risk of trips, slips and falls. The slip-resistant GRP (glass-reinforced plastic) grip surface suits indoor and outdoor use, and the step is available with or without handrails.

Heights

• 120mm option: use it without legs for an 80mm step, or with the self-levelling legs to set it between 105mm and 120mm.
• 230mm option: longer frame legs let you set the step between 150mm and 230mm. Its feet have pre-drilled holes, so it can be used as a portable step or fixed to the ground.
• Easy to set up: attach the legs, set your height and place the step by the step, threshold or doorway. No tools are needed, and assembly usually takes under ten minutes.
• You can place several steps one in front of another to create a tiered layout with a more gradual climb.

Sizes

• Standard: 760mm L x 405mm W, 4 support legs.
• Large: 760mm L x 610mm W, 4 support legs.
• Extra Large: 1000mm L x 1000mm W, 5 support legs.
• Walking unaided or with sticks: standard or large, depending on preference. Walking frames: large recommended. Rollators: extra large recommended, which also gives a stable platform for you and your walker while you open the door. Check the size of your mobility aid before you buy.
• Foot designs vary with the size and height chosen.

Handrails

• Single or pair of handrails for extra support and stability, 900mm high, especially helpful for people who struggle with balance or weakness on one side. They are optional and can be added later if your needs change.
• The handrails fix to the step and include a bracket with a 6mm countersunk hole for securing the step to concrete or tarmac.
• The 120mm option can only be fixed to the ground when bought with handrails, as the floor bracket comes with them.

Good to Know

• Where a 185mm maximum height version is supplied, two sets of feet come with it so the step can be used at 105mm to 120mm or 125mm to 185mm.
