Adjustable Steel Mobility Half Step – 100mm to 130mm H, 750mm L x 700mm W, 460kg

A strong, British-made adjustable steel step that halves the height between the ground and a doorway or high step. Its large platform gives extra stability and suits anyone walking unaided or using walking sticks, walking frames, zimmer frames or walkers. It works indoors and outdoors and comes with two anti-theft brackets so it can be fixed to the ground.

Features

• Height adjustable between 100mm and 130mm, so you can set a comfortable, manageable step height.
• Full-width slip-resistant surface that drains itself, giving good grip in all weathers, even when wet.
• Anti-trip bar along the front of the step to help prevent trips and falls.
• Suits solid floors, carpet and outdoor use.
• Made from durable zinc-plated steel for weather resistance; can be left outside.
• Heavy-duty 460kg capacity.
• Made in Britain, with a one-year warranty.

Sizes

• Platform: 750mm L x 700mm W, adjustable from 100mm to 130mm H.
• Offered in two sizes: the standard step suits people walking or using sticks, while the large step, as here, is recommended for walking frames.

Handrails

• The step is available with or without handrails; this option is supplied without handrails.
• The adjustable handrails bolt to the side of the step through pre-drilled holes and adjust between 920mm and 1020mm in 20mm steps. The adjustable feet can sit at the base of the handrails for extra security.
• A single handrail can be fitted on either side, and an extra handrail can be added later.

Installation

• Installation is required. The feet simply screw into place.
• Two brackets let you fix the step to the ground so it cannot move. To fix it down you need a drill, screwdriver, rawl plugs and 5 x 50mm screws (not supplied).
