Modular Galvanised Steel Access Steps – 340mm to 1360mm High (2–8 Steps), 600/800/1000mm Wide, 350kg

Modular galvanised steel step kits that give reliable access to raised areas, temporary buildings and modular buildings. Supplied in sections, they can be assembled, taken apart and reconfigured to suit different heights and locations. Available in three widths, they suit portable buildings, site offices, modular classrooms, events, staging and other semi-permanent structures.

Where They Are Used

Commonly used to access raised modular, portable and temporary buildings, such as construction site offices, event and festival structures, prefabricated cabins, modular classrooms, mobile homes, pop-up buildings, stages, trailer-mounted buildings and modular toilet blocks, as well as gardens, decking areas and basements.

Features

• Heights from 340mm (2 steps) to 1360mm (8 steps) and widths of 600mm, 800mm or 1000mm to suit different entrances and spaces.
• 280mm-deep open mesh treads give secure footing, and a 45° angle keeps the steps compact.
• Anti-slip, self-draining mesh treads grip well underfoot, with drainage holes so rainwater runs straight through and does not pool.
• Pre-drilled fixing points in the base and on the top tread secure the steps to the ground and the building. Fixings are not included.
• Heavy-duty galvanised steel with a 350kg safe working load (SWL), weather-resistant for indoor and outdoor use and long-lasting in commercial, workplace and home settings. Can be left outside.
• One-year warranty.

Modular & Reconfigurable

• Supplied as a modular kit in sections, so the steps can be dismantled to transport, store or move to another site, ideal for temporary and semi-permanent use.
• For a lower height, reconfigure the steps using the parts supplied. For a higher kit later, extra parts can be bought without replacing the whole kit.

Installation & Safety

• The steps must be secured in position before use, fixed to the ground and the building floor.
• If you would rather not fix the steps permanently, our Freestanding Galvanised Steel Access Steps have an outer support frame so they stand on their own, and come in 2, 3 and 4 step options.
• Supplied unassembled as a kit including treads, bolts and nuts. You will need an adjustable spanner and an 18mm socket (not supplied).
• Wear gloves when handling the steps and suitable footwear when walking on them.
