Freestanding galvanised steel steps that give safe, practical access to raised entrances on temporary modular buildings, cabins, staging, mobile homes, modular offices and more. Choose 2, 3 or 4 steps and a width of 600mm, 800mm or 1000mm to suit the entrance and space available.

Ideal for temporary or semi-permanent access to raised modular, portable and temporary buildings, such as construction site offices, event and festival structures, prefabricated cabins, modular classrooms, pop-up buildings, stages, trailer-mounted buildings and modular toilet blocks, as well as gardens, decking areas and basements.

• Freestanding design: the side supports form a stable base, so the steps can simply be placed where access is needed.
• Pre-drilled fixing points let you secure the steps to the ground and the building for semi-permanent use. Ground and wall fixings are not included.
• Anti-slip, self-draining mesh treads give extra grip, with drainage holes so rainwater runs straight through and does not pool.
• 280mm-deep treads give plenty of room for secure footing, and a 45° angle keeps the steps compact.
• Heavy-duty galvanised steel rated to 350kg, weather-resistant for indoor and outdoor use and long-lasting in commercial, workplace and home settings. Can be left outside.
• One-year warranty. Easy to fit.

• Supplied as a modular kit in sections, so the steps can be taken apart to transport, store or move to another site, ideal for temporary and semi-permanent jobs.
• For a lower height, reconfigure the steps using the parts supplied. For a higher height later, extra parts can be bought without replacing the whole kit.
• Need more height or a fixed installation? Our Modular Galvanised Steel Access Steps must be secured to the ground and building and come in more heights, up to 8 steps. These freestanding steps have an outer support frame so they stand on their own, can be used freestanding or fixed to the ground, and come in 2, 3 and 4 step options only.

• Supplied unassembled as a kit including side panels, treads, bolts and nuts. You will need an adjustable spanner and an 18mm socket (not supplied).
• Wear gloves when handling the steps and suitable footwear when walking on them.
• In most cases no ground fixing is needed. Carry out a site-specific risk assessment for the location and use; for busy or public areas, securing the steps is generally recommended.
