Rubber Threshold Ramp 12mm to 100mm High – 1000mm Wide, 1000kg Capacity

A solid rubber threshold ramp for getting safely over steps, kerbs and doorways at homes, gardens and businesses. Made from 100% recycled rubber, it is strong, non-slip and weatherproof, needs no installation, and simply rests in place. Available in 24 heights from 12mm to 100mm, it suits manual and electric wheelchairs, mobility scooters, walkers and pedestrians.

Sizes

• Heights 12mm to 70mm are sold as a single ramp 1000mm wide.
• Heights 74mm to 100mm are sold as a pair of 500mm wide ramps, giving a 1000mm width.
• Ramp length ranges from 120mm to 800mm and weight from 1.6kg to 25.6kg, depending on height.
• Cut to fit: trim the width with a Stanley knife, saw or similar.
• Go wider: the straight, flat edges let you place several ramps side by side, for example across double doors.

Choosing Your Height

• Measure the vertical height of the step, kerb or doorway and choose the closest height.
• If the door opens over the ramp and you want to leave the ramp in place, pick a slightly lower height so the door can still open.
• If using it together with a folding wheelchair ramp to bridge a doorway, pick a height slightly higher than the doorway.
• Many uPVC doorways have a protruding ledge, so a rubber ramp outside may leave a gap below the threshold. Often the best solution is a rubber ramp inside (where the floor is flat) with a folding ramp or similar outside.

Good to Know

• Made from a 100% recycled rubber compound, which may contain trace amounts of metal.
• The ramp is portable and needs no fixings; if you want to secure it to the floor, rubber adhesives can be used.
• The natural rubber smell fades after a couple of days in fresh air; wiping the surface with a damp cloth and washing-up liquid speeds this up.
