Overview

A pair of extra-wide 4m professional aluminium loading ramps for safely loading lightweight machinery and vehicles into vans, trucks and trailers at higher load heights, with a safe gradient for smooth, easy loading. Made for vehicles on rubber tracks or rubber wheels, they suit micro diggers, mini excavators, micro dumper trucks, ride-on mowers and similar, and are widely used on construction sites, by landscape gardeners, in agriculture, by utility contractors and by plant hire companies. Capacity is 800kg across the pair.

Features

  • Each ramp is 4000mm L x 500mm W with a slim 65mm core profile, ideal as car ramps or lightweight plant ramps.
  • 800kg capacity across the pair; heavy-duty, non-folding ramps ideal for lightweight plant machinery, ride-on mowers and cars. Capacity by vehicle wheelbase: 660kg at 1000mm, 720kg at 1250mm and 800kg at 1500mm.
  • Designed for load heights from 1050mm to 1200mm; the ramps simply rest on your vehicle.
  • Wide design: 500mm per ramp, ideal for vehicles with wider wheels or tracks.
  • Takes tracks or wheels from 300mm up to 420mm wide.
  • Designed for loading tracked machinery, including diggers, tractors, excavators and ride-on mowers.
  • Secure connection: curved rest-on connection with a pre-drilled hole, supplied with a pin and plates to secure the ramps to your vehicle during loading.
  • Angled foot: precision cut for the recommended load height, giving a smooth, seamless transition from ground level onto the ramp.
  • Designed for a maximum gradient of 30% so machinery can be loaded safely.
  • Lightweight and portable: each ramp weighs 28kg (56kg per pair) and can be lifted and moved safely by two people. They lie flat, and the 65mm profile makes them easy to store in a van or trailer.
  • Supplied without side edges as standard for greater flexibility; versions with edges are available on request.
  • Manufactured in Italy (European made) and fully TÜV certified, built to last in commercial environments.
  • Two-year warranty.

Connection & Customisation

  • Four connection options are available. The standard rest-on connection is a popular choice for flat-bed vehicles and tipper trucks; for beavertail trailers a hook connection is normally recommended.
  • An alternative connection, such as a hook connection, can be requested after ordering.
  • Custom load heights are available, along with custom solutions such as alternative lengths and widths. Quotes for bespoke ramps are available on request.

Good to Know

  • Sold as a pair: the price is for two ramps; a single ramp can be quoted on request.
  • Choosing the right length: measure the vertical height from the ground to where the ramp will rest on your vehicle (your load height) and check it falls within the minimum and maximum load height above. If you are unsure, or are loading a low-clearance vehicle, check suitability before ordering.
  • Staying in place: the pre-drilled rest-on connection secures to the vehicle, the angled foot keeps the ramp on the ground, and the ramp's own weight and gradient help hold it steady.
  • For cars with low ground clearance, dedicated car ramps with a smoother gradient are recommended instead.
  • These are non-folding ramps: folding designs are not suitable for safely loading heavy plant equipment at these capacities.
  • The stated maximum capacities only apply to vehicles with evenly distributed weight; for vehicles where the weight is not evenly spread, get advice before use.
  • Not suitable for the solid wheels found on road surfacing machines; industrial steel-track ramps are needed for that kind of machinery.
  • Product images are for illustration only; the actual product may differ slightly due to product improvements.
