A temporary, portable vehicle gangway with handrails and a non-slip surface, 6055mm long with a 1000mm internal width (1120mm total/external width) and a 998kg capacity. It gives vehicles and pedestrians a safe way over trenches, dips and similar small height differences. Suitable only for use at a gradient of up to 5%.

• Never exceed a gradient of 5%.
• Leave a minimum rest of 330mm on both sides of the gangway so it sits securely.
• Minimum rubber footprint of 200mm x 200mm.
• Vehicle load should be spread between 40% and 60% across the axles.
• For safety, use the gangway with the handrails in place; fold them only for transport.

• Gangways are wide ramps that let vehicles cross trenches, for example during excavation works, and only overcome small height differences.
• To load at a gradient above 5%, vehicle ramps rated for up to 8% are a better fit; for greater heights, a pair of plant ramps may suit, as they can be used at a steeper gradient and are made for loading vehicles into vans and trailers.
