Features

  • The 6ft–10ft ramps can be clipped to shorter lengths when space is limited or for use in different places; the 12ft ramp can only be used at 12ft.
  • Maximum gradient 1 in 6, although 1 in 8 is recommended.
  • 5cm high safety edges on both sides stop wheels rolling off accidentally.
  • Durable, high-traction non-slip surface.
  • Rest-on connection with a rubber grip coating, plus a curved end and foot, keeps the ramps secure on the step during use.
  • Quick to set up: slide the ramps out, rest them on the step, doorway or kerb, line up the wheelchair wheels and go.
  • Suitable for self-propelled and assisted wheelchair users. 275kg capacity.

Build & Portability

  • Made from aluminium; each ramp weighs between 6kg and 11.5kg depending on length.
  • Each ramp has a built-in carry handle and clips securely shut for storage at home or in the car.
  • Easy to fit. One-year warranty.

Good to Know

  • Only for manual wheelchairs and only for use as mobility aids. They are generally not suitable for electric wheelchairs or mobility scooters, which often have low clearance; the safety edges can catch. If you do plan to use one, check that its clearance is more than 4"/100mm.
  • Channel ramps are lighter and more compact than a single wide ramp, but the person pushing needs to watch their footing more carefully.
  • Pictures are for illustration only; the actual product may vary due to product improvements.
