Overview
A heavy-duty steel flow plate that keeps traffic moving in one direction and slows vehicles to a maximum of 5mph. It stops drivers travelling the wrong way, leaving through an entrance or entering restricted areas, helping to improve safety and reduce congestion. Suitable for every vehicle type from cars and vans to 30-tonne HGVs, it is ideal for car parks, private roads, business parks, loading bays and industrial estates.

Features
- Rated to 30,000kg, with a maximum of 15,000kg per axle, for high-traffic commercial areas.
- High tensile spring mechanism holds the plate upright to discourage driving in the wrong direction.
- Chequered anti-slip surface in high-visibility yellow powder coat for optimum grip when driving over.
- Made from heavy-gauge steel chequer plate, hot-dip galvanised and powder coated, with an extra-wide plate.
- Locking bolt lets vehicles pass in both directions when needed, for example during maintenance works. The plate stands 105mm high, dropping to 40mm with the locking bolt engaged.
- Can be laid in the layout that suits your road, as a single straight line or in two rows.
- Replacement springs and additional fixings are available.
- One-year warranty.
Installation
- Surface fixed through pre-drilled fixing points, so it is quick to install or relocate.
- Each plate needs 7 fixings; M10 x 120mm fixings for tarmac and concrete are included free, along with an SDS Max drill bit (14mm diameter, 150mm drill length, 276mm total length).
- Does not penetrate the membrane, so it is suitable for multi-storey buildings.
- A general handyman or builder should be able to fit it.
Good to Know
- Use together with speed bumps and warning signs or other traffic calming products.
- Vehicles must drive over the plates in a straight line, never at an angle, so do not install them on or close to a bend.
- Not recommended for pedestrian areas; speed bumps are the better choice where people and vehicles mix.
- Pictures are for illustration only; the actual product may vary due to product improvements.
