Overview
Made for sites where a full-height mobile platform ladder cannot fit through the entrance. These steps arrive partly folded. Tipped on their side, they measure 900mm from floor to handrail, so they roll through most standard UK doorways. They suit units without roller shutters, buildings with only pedestrian doors, and areas with low-hanging fixtures.

Design & Safety
- Before ordering, check your doorway and any obstructions inside the building, because some older buildings have narrower openings.
- The compact build is easy to move and store, so it suits occasional use.
- The 550 x 400mm working platform lets you work at height and pick stock safely.
- A central brake locks the steps in place, so nobody needs to hold them steady.
- Four wheels make it easy to move around the warehouse or site.
- Dual handrails let you keep three points of contact at all times.
- A 75mm toe plate stops tools and materials falling off. It covers the rear only on 3–6 tread sizes and three sides on 7–15 tread sizes.
- Choose punched metal, rubber or PVC-covered treads to reduce slips, and confirm your choice with us after ordering.
- 550 x 200mm steel treads give secure footing, with a 60° climbing angle.
Build Quality
- Heavy-duty design rated to 300kg.
- Fully welded frame made from Electric Resistance Welded (ERW) steel tube, light but strong.
- High-gloss powder coating that resists water and scratches, wipes clean easily and is environmentally friendly. It is not waterproof, so store the steps indoors.
- High-visibility blue finish alerts staff, pedestrians and drivers. Other colours are available.

Sizes
Platform heights run from 1250mm (5 treads) to 3750mm (15 treads) in 250mm steps. The tread count includes the top platform, so 5 treads means 4 steps plus the platform. The main frame is about 600mm wide; the overall width is measured at the axle, its widest point.
Good to Know
Check the steps before every use. The employer should also carry out a detailed visual inspection regularly, usually at least every 6 months, or more often with heavy use.
