Overview

An all-black, heavy-duty 5-channel cable protector with a low profile that lets goods and vehicles pass over easily. It safely protects sound and lighting cables from pedestrians and light vehicles, with a 5,000kg capacity and 10,000kg per axle. Ideal for commercial settings such as trade shows, exhibitions, retail parks, markets, shopping centres, festivals, music events, workplaces and warehouses.

Features

  • Chequered black non-slip surface for pedestrians and vehicles.
  • Black polyurethane lid locks securely when closed, with a self-cleaning hinge.
  • Quick to use in all weathers: rest it in place, open the lid and lay in up to 5 cables.
  • Interlocking design: connect several units to cover larger areas.
  • Built-in carry handles for lifting and moving it when not in use.
  • Suitable for indoor and outdoor use and can be left outside.

Build Quality & Safety

  • Made from non-breakable, 100% recyclable polyurethane, built for use in industrial areas.
  • Resistant to oils, acids, petrol and solvents.
  • Temperature resistant from -30°C to +60°C, with a shore A hardness of 88 ± 4.
  • Smooth surfaces, edges and corners help prevent injuries.
  • Fire protection class B2 (DIN 4102) and class E to DIN EN 13501-1. TÜV SÜD and DERKA certified.
  • Protects low-voltage cables up to 500V, such as communication, control and power-supply cables, as well as water and sewage pipes and hoses. Not suitable for rigid gas pipes.
  • Made in Germany. Five-year warranty.

Care & Maintenance

  • Easy to clean, even with a steam jet cleaner; little maintenance is needed thanks to the self-cleaning lid.
  • Keep the hinge area and lid clean, and lightly lubricate the hinges and closure regularly with a silicone spray. Wipe off any excess afterwards to avoid a slip risk.
