Features

  • Folds like a book for storage, with a built-in carry handle on the side for easy moving.
  • No installation: unfold it, rest it on the step, kerb or doorway and start using it.
  • Rubber grip under the curved 7cm rest-on connection holds the ramp firmly to the step, and an angled foot sits firmly on the ground; the ramp's angle and weight also help keep it in place. On the 7ft and 8ft ramps the rest-on connection differs slightly for extra stability at the longer length.
  • Pre-drilled holes in the rest-on connection let you secure the ramp to the step if you prefer.
  • Curved at both the base and the top for a smooth transition from the ground onto the ramp and from the ramp onto the step.
  • High-traction black anti-slip surface reduces the risk of slips.
  • 30mm high, high-visibility safety edges reduce trip hazards and stop users rolling off, ideal in public areas or for people with limited vision.
  • Flat hinge reduces trip hazards and suits all mobility aids, including three-wheeled ones.
  • Durable aluminium. Easy to fit. One-year warranty.

Use & Gradient

  • Suitable for manual and electric wheelchairs, mobility scooters and walkers. For mobility aids only, not for loading trolleys or pallets.
  • Maximum gradient 1 in 6, with 1 in 8 recommended.
  • Can be used with rubber threshold ramps to bridge door thresholds. uPVC doorways often have an internal step too, so an extra internal ramp such as a rubber threshold ramp is usually needed for a smooth transition.
  • Suitable for outdoor use, but store it indoors when not in use, especially in frost or ice, to prolong its life.
  • Carry bags are available.

Sizes

  • Lengths from 2ft (608mm) to 8ft (2440mm).
  • 720mm overall width, 715mm internal width, and 380mm wide when folded.
  • Weighs 5.2kg to 20.3kg depending on length.
