Overview
A folding aluminium bridge ramp for thresholds where the floor height is different on each side, such as uPVC doorways, patio doors, double doors and wooden thresholds. Just unfold it, rest it over the doorway and start using it. With a 350kg capacity it works with all mobility aids, including wheelchairs, scooters and walkers, and it is portable enough to use at home, at friends' houses or on holiday.

Features
- Bridges thresholds up to 150mm high, including where the height differs on either side.
- Built-in doorframe protection: a 4cm wide rubber section sits on the threshold to protect weaker thresholds from the weight of mobility aids.
- Grip padding at both ends stops the ramp moving on wooden floors, patio slabs or carpet.
- Full-width anti-slip grip surface for strong traction in all weathers.
- Folds for compact storage in a cupboard or car boot, with a built-in carry handle.

- As a portable ramp it is not designed to be left outside.
- For thresholds higher than 150mm, or for a ramp that can stay outside, an adjustable threshold ramp with entry plate or a folding drive-in threshold system is needed instead.

- A person with a physical or mental impairment that has a long-term effect on their ability to carry out everyday activities.
- A person with a condition doctors treat as a chronic illness (for example diabetes), or who is terminally ill.
- A family member, carer or friend buying it on their behalf.
- A charity buying it to make it available to disabled people.
Who can't claim
- Someone with a temporary injury, such as a broken bone.
- An older person who is frail but not disabled or chronically sick.
- A VAT-registered business, or anyone buying for general or shared use (unless it is an eligible charity).
How to claim
- Choose Claim VAT relief (here or in your basket).
- Enter the name of the person or charity, and the condition or the charity's registration number.
- Tick the declaration. The 20% VAT is then taken off every qualifying item in your basket before checkout.
