Overview
A lightweight aluminium half step that reduces the distance between the ground and a step or doorway, making it safer to manage for people with limited mobility, anyone recovering from surgery and the elderly. The slip-resistant chequered step is height-adjustable, suits indoor and outdoor use, and comes in two sizes.

Features
- Height-adjustable: use it without feet at 62mm, or insert the four legs and set it between 93mm and 108mm.
- Anti-slip chequered aluminium surface, with rubber grip feet that keep the step firmly in place.
- Anti-rust zinc-coated alloy frame for long life in all weathers, even when left outside.

- Lightweight at 6.5kg to 7.5kg, depending on size.

- A person with a physical or mental impairment that has a long-term effect on their ability to carry out everyday activities.
- A person with a condition doctors treat as a chronic illness (for example diabetes), or who is terminally ill.
- A family member, carer or friend buying it on their behalf.
- A charity buying it to make it available to disabled people.
Who can't claim
- Someone with a temporary injury, such as a broken bone.
- An older person who is frail but not disabled or chronically sick.
- A VAT-registered business, or anyone buying for general or shared use (unless it is an eligible charity).
How to claim
- Choose Claim VAT relief (here or in your basket).
- Enter the name of the person or charity, and the condition or the charity's registration number.
- Tick the declaration. The 20% VAT is then taken off every qualifying item in your basket before checkout.
